This position is based in Redlands, but will provide support in San Bernardino, Riverside Counties. The position may also be assigned cases in Los Angeles County.
Position is responsible for providing counseling and case management for the clients assigned to their care. The position may perform adoption home studies and requires a MSW Degree. The Social Worker participates as a member of the Foster Family/Adoption Treatment Team to exchange information regarding clients, families and other pertinent data.
Develops timely, individualized, comprehensive Master Treatment Plans for all cases assigned, in accordance with policies and procedures. Reviews and updates Plans on a regular basis.
Develops and maintains professional working relationships with all clinical service organizations, schools and community agencies in order to fully implement the Treatment Plan.
Communicates to the Treatment Team regarding pertinent case material, special therapeutic needs, family relationships, etc. This requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
Completes timely documentation in updating the Clinical Record of all services rendered in accordance with policies and procedures.
Provides individual, family, group therapiy and Parent Outreach services in accordance with each Individualized Treatment Plan.
Perform in-service training for foster parents and other staff members depending on expertise and special certifications.
Master's Degree in Social Work, with qualifications to apply or possess a CSW or MFT license.
Prefer two years experience in a Foster Family/Adoption Agency responsible for working with both children and families.
Must be able to pass a full background check and possess a clean State of California Driver's License, and have reliable transportation. Requires current First Aid/CPR certification.
Successful candidate will be team oriented and able to work under defined policies and procedures. This position will act as a representative of the company with various agencies, school systems, and Local/State Courts.
